Patchouli Lavender Tallow Bar
Deep and earthy, yet soft with light, sweet floral notes. A definite favorite around here!
Ingredients: grass fed pasture raised beef tallow*, organic coconut oil*, olive oil*, castor oil, essential oils, purple Brazillian clay, indigo powder. *saponified
How do oils and butters become a solid mass that gently cleanses while it moisturizes, that bubbles and lathers, that rinses clean and leaves skin soft? Through saponification. Saponification is the chemical process of turning oils and butters into soap using sodium hydroxide and water. Once saponification has take place, usually within 24 hours, soap is safe to use.
Our bars are hand cut and on average measure 3” x 3” x 1” and weigh between 5-6 ounces.
Because we hand make each batch of soap, bars may differ slightly in appearance and texture. You are guaranteed to get the same base recipe, but color, swirl, texture/design on top, and thickness may vary slightly. This is the beauty of hand made soap!
