Tallow Balm
Ingredients: grass fed pasture raise beef tallow, organic extra virgin olive oil, rose hip seed oil, vitamin e.
Why tallow? After making and marketing plant based body butters for over 10 years, we have switched to tallow. Why? It’s all the rage and for good reason. Tallow is bio-identical to the fat in human skin, that means our bodies can absorb it well, and make good use of it. It is loaded with wonderful nutrients for the skin including vitamins A, D, E and K, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Many of us take these vitamins as supplements, but do they ever reach our skin? Some would argue that they do not, hence, tallow, applied to the skin, rich in these nutrients, will aid in this process.
Results are not guaranteed but I must say my skin is feeling quite a bit better since I made the switch. I find tallow balm to be much less greasy, absorbing nicely into my skin, leaving it moist and soft.
